Copper Valley Relay for Life May 16-17

The Copper Valley Relay for Life will take place on Friday and Saturday (May 16 and 17) at Harbison Field.

During the relay, teams camp overnight on the football field and have at least one team member walking laps at all times. There is entertainment throughout the night, with food, games and activities for all ages.

This year’s Globe-Miami Relay for Life will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17 at Harbison Field.

Copper Valley Relay for Life Kicks Off This Weekend

The Copper Valley Relay for Life season kicks off  this Saturday (March 22) from 10 until 2 at the Historic Train Depot in Globe.

There will be popcorn, prizes and carnival style fun for the whole family.

Copper Valley Relay for Life This Weekend

The annual Copper Valley Relay for Life begins at 6:pm on  Friday (June 7) and continues until 8:am Saturday.

The event at Harbison Field includes the survivor walk, team relays, entertainment, food, other vendors and more.

The event honors those who have or had cancer, and  raises funds to help treat and eradicate all forms of cancer.

Relay for Life Car Wash at Fry's

The local Fry’s store is holding its annual Relay for Life  car wash this Friday from 9:am until 2:pm in the Fry’s parking lot.

This year’s car wash is dedicated to Fry’s late assistant manager Penny Brenton, who lost a battle with cancer a few months ago.

Relay for Life Kick-Off on Thursday

The Relay for Life Kick-Off is on Thursday  at the Apache Gold Casino. It starts at 5:30pm in the Conference Center.

The Kick-Off is also this month’s Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce Mixer.

You’ll have the opportunity to register for the Copper Valley Relay for Life to be held on June 7^th and 8^th at Harbison Field.

Copper Valley Relay for Life

The 2012 Copper Valley Relay for Life is being held Friday and Saturday at Harbison Field. Opening ceremonies begin Friday at 6:pm and the event continues until 6:am Saturday

Relay for Life events are held across the country to help raise money for the the American Cancer Society and to raise cancer awareness.

Last year’s event raised $60,000 and participants donated more per capita than those at any other event in Arizona.

Relay for Life Team Fundraiser

The Walmart Relay for Life team is having a fundraiser at the Mineshaft Pizza in Miami on Saturday at 6:pm.

There will be open mike, food, raffles and fun for $5.00 a person.

Relay for Life Benefit Car Wash

The Globe Public Library is having a benefit car wash for Relay for Life on Saturday at 10:am.

Relay for Life Car Wash

A Relay for Life benefit car wash will be held Saturday from 9:am until 3:pm in the Fry’s parking lot.

The car wash is dedicated to Fry’s bakery clerk Linda Garrett who lost her battle with cancer a few month ago.

Burros and baked goods will also be sold.

Planning Meeting for Benefit Car Wash

You can help raise money for Relay for Life and help the Globe Public Library at the same time by attending a meeting Wednesday at 5:30pm. This is a planning meeting at the library  for a benfit car wash.

The Relay for Life Kickoff Meeting takes place Thursday (March 22) from 5 to 7:pm at the Dream Manor Inn. Everyone who wants to participate in this year’s Relay for Life is invited to attend.

Relay for Life is the world's largest movement to end cancer. The 2012 Relay for Life in Globe-Miami is scheduled for June 8 and 9 at Harbison Field.

Last year the Globe-Miami Relay for Life had the highest donations per capita in Arizona.

Relay for Life Meeting May 5

The 2011 American Cancer Society Relay for Life is holding a committee and Team Captain meeting on Tuesday, May 5 in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room at the Gila County Courthouse.

The committee meeting starts at 5:pm and the team captain meeting begins at 6.
