Bicycle Race This Saturday at Globe Community Center

The Globe Community Center is hosting a bicycle race around the park this Saturday (October 19) from 9:am to 2:pm.

Everybody is invited to participate or to bring a lawn chair and watch.

Children 18 and under will get to race for free. Adults will be required to pay a $10 insurance fee to ride or you can race in the three lap “Fun Ride.” If you want to compete against the experts who are coming to town you will need to pay a $35 entry fee plus the insurance fee.

All bicycle riders will need to have a helmet and the bicycles must not have bar-ends or pegs.

Children under 18 will need to have a parent present to sign a waiver.

July 4 Activities at Globe Pool

The Globe Community Center Pool has scheduled some fun activities for July 4. They include a pole run, 3 legged racing in the water, whiffle basketball, and diving for sodas and quarters.

The pool opens at 1:pm.

Special July 4 Activities at Globe Pool

The Globe Community Pool will have a special day of fun to celebrate July 4.

The pool opens at 1:00pm. Activities include a pole run, 3 legged racing in the water, whiffle basketball and diving for sodas and quarters.

Hawaii Day at Globe Pool

The Globe Community Center Pool is celebrating Hawaii Day this Friday (June 14).

The event features limbo, hula contests, watermelon contests and more.

It’s on Friday from 1 to 5:pm.

Admission is $1 for ages 3 to 11 and $2 for ages 12 and up.

Globe Community Center Closed Saturday 6:am to 2:pm

The Globe Community Center will be closed to the public on Saturday from 6:am until 2:pm for a Focus Cycle-Cross Race. The event is open to the public and spectators are welcome.

Access to Hagen Road will be restricted from Oil Circle Road. People needing access to these areas will need to use Ice House Canyon Road as an alternate.
