Globe-Miami March for Babies

The 2014 Globe-Miami March for Babies will be held on Saturday, March 8 at Bullion Plaza Park.

March for Babies This Saturday

This year’s March for Babies event takes place on Saturday, starting at the Bullion Plaza Park. Breakfast is at 7:am and the walk starts at 8.

More than 150 individuals and teams are expected to attend with families, neighbors and friends.

March for Babies is the main fundraiser each year to support the March of Dimes mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

2013 March for Babies Kicks Off Wednesday

The 2013 Globe-Miami March for Babies kicks off Wednesday at 6:pm at Guayo’s on the Trail.

March of Dimes will celebrate its 75^th birthday this year. If you have had any connection with March of Dimes in the past, you are invited to join the celebration.

If you know the history of how the Walk started locally, please attend the meeting on Wednesday.

Nomination Deadline Approaching for Nurse of the Year

The March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Awards nomination deadline of May 13 is quickly approaching.

Nurses throughout Arizona may be nominated in one or more of 14 categories. The awards were established to bring awareness to the critical nursing shortage throughout Arizona as well as to support future nurses through scholarship funding.

The Awards Gala will be held on Saturday, August 27 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
