Globe Boys and Girls Club Raffle

The East Valley Boys and Girls Club is currently having a raffle for a 2014 Chevy Cruze LS.

Tickets are $10. All of the proceeds go to the Globe branch of the Boys and Giorls Club.

Raffle tickets are available at the Boys and Girls Club, State Farm Insurance and Dairy Queen. Board members and friends are also selling tickets.

Boys and Girls Club Summer Day Camp

The Globe Boys and Girls Club will have Summer Day Camp from Monday, June 2 through Friday, August 1. This is a safe and positive place for kids to be while not in school. It’s for ages 5 to 14.

The Summer Day Camp will be from 7:am until 6:pm daily at the Club on S. Hagen Road,  near the Community Center.

The cost is $25 a week for one child, $40 per family. Financial assistance is available.

Globe Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament

The Globe Branch of the East Valley Boys and Girls Clubs will hold the 6^th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 7, at the Apache Stronghold Golf Course.

The cost $75 a golfer or $225 for a three person scramble team. Breakfast and lunch is included.

Ribbon Cutting of Boys and Girls Club Remodeling Project

The Globe Boys and Girls Club will hold a Ribbon Cutting and Unveiling of the recent remodeling project on Tuesday, April 22 at 4:30pm. It’s at the Boys and Girls Club on Hagen Road, below the Globe Community Center.

Boys and Girls Club Spring Break Day Camp

The Globe branch of the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley will have their Spring Break Day Camp on March 17-21 from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

The program is available for parents who are looking for a safe and positive youth development experience for their kids during Spring Break when school is not in session.

The cost is $10 a day, $40 for the week. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. There is also a $25 membership fee.

Boys and Girls Club 5th Anniversary Dinner

The Globe Branch of the East Valley Boys and Girls Club will have its 5^th Anniversary Dinner and Gala on Thursday, March 27 at Dream Manor Inn. It starts at 5:pm.

The cost is $50 for a steak dinner. Tickets are available at State Farm Insurance and the Globe Boys and Girls Club.

Boys and Girls Club Youth Day Camp

The Globe branch of the East Valley Boys and Girls Club invites local youth and teens from 5 to 14 years of age to a safe and affordable day camp next week while school is out.

It’s from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday, October 14 through Friday, October 18. The location is 1435 South Hagan Road, below the old Liberty High School.

There will be games, arts and crafts, and other activities.

The cost is $25 for one child or $40 per family.

Lunch is not provided so your child will need to bring a sack lunch each day.

Boys and Girls Club Day for Kids

The Globe Branch of the East Valley Boys and Girls Clubs will have their annual Day for Kids event this Saturday (September 21) at the Gila County Fair.

They’ll have games and sports, a coloring contest, snacks and beverages, and a chance to win fun prizes.

Look for the signs at the Fair that will direct you to the Day for Kids booth.

Boys and Girls Club Ribbon Cutting

The Globe Boys and Girls Club invites the community to their ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday (April 12) to celebrate the completion of their new playground.

Globe Boys and Girls Club Grand Reopening

The Globe Boys and Girls Club is having its Grand Reopening tomorrow (Friday) from 5 to 7:pm. Find out about the club’s new changes. The club is located at 1435 S. Hagen Road.

They will have music, refershments, games and fun.

Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament March 17

The Boys and Girls Club of Globe is hosting the 4th Annual 3-Person Scramble Golf Tournament on March 17 at the Cobre Valley Country Club.

Breakfast and registration begins at 7:30 and the shotgun start is at 8:30. Lunch and the award presentation begins at 1:30pm.

The cost for early registration is $45. It will be $50 the day of the tournament.

The Boys and Girls Club is looking for 3-person golf teams, and donations to the prize table, drawing table and auction table.

Benefit Car and Truck Show October 14-15

The Flashback Classic Cruisers of Arizona will host a Benefit Car and Truck Show on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 to raise money for the Globe-Miami Boys and Girls Club. The show will be on Sullivan Street in Miami.

The Cruise Night will be Friday, October 14 from 5 to 8:pm and the show will be from 9 until 2 on Saturday.

They’ll have a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, T-shirts for sale, and will play “oldies” music. Awards will be presented at the end of the show.

Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament

The Boys and Girls Club of Globe is hosting a 3 person scramble golf tournament on Saturday, March 19 at the Cobre Valley Country Club. It’s $45 a person for early registration, $50 the day of the tournament.

There will be prizes for the top three golf teams. Prizes will be awarded for longest putt, longest drive and closest to the pin.
