Globe Lions Club 'White Cane Drive' Saturday at Fry's

The Globe Lions Club will be at Fry’s tomorrow (Saturday) from 9:am to 5:pm for the annual White Cane Drive. Money collected will help people in the local area get needed eye exams and glasses.

If you have an old pair of eyeglasses that you no longer need, these are also being collected.

Globe Lions Collecting Winter Clothes and Blankets for the Needy

The Globe Lions are collecting winter coats, jackets, blankets, hats, scarves and gloves to help those in need. You can drop them off at the designated boxes at Fry’s and Safeway, and at the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Lions' Donation Jars Out This Weekend

The Lions Club’s donation jars will be in front of local grocery stores, banks and the post office Friday and Saturday. The money goes to pay for eye exams and new eyeglasses for the less fortunate in our community.

Lions Club Presents Eyeglass Processing Event

The Globe Lions Club presents an Eyeglass Processing Event Monday night at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. This is an opportunity to see what happens to all the old eyeglasses that club members collect. The event starts at 7:00.
