Holy Angels Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

The Holy Angels Catholic Church Cinco de Mayo Fiesta begins Saturday (May 3) at 10:am in the Old Dominion parking lot.

There will be lots of traditional Mexican food and entertainment throughout the day. A Kids Korner includes games, pinata breaks and a jumping castle.

The Globe Knights of Columbus will host the Beer and Margarita Garden.

Butcher Hook Cinco de Mayo Horseshoe Tournament

The Butcher Hook 19^th Annual Cinco de Mayo Horseshoe Tournament begins tomorrow (Saturday) with sign up at 10:am.

There is a $10 a person entry fee.

They will have food and drinks available all day.

Holy Angels Cinco de Mayo Fiesta This Saturday

Holy Angels Catholic Church invites the comunity to the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta this Saturday in downtown Globe. The celebration begins at 10:am in the Old Dominion parking lot and continues until 9:pm.

There will be a wide selection of crafts and lots of food booths, including Mexican food, frybread, hot dogs and hamburgers. There will also be cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and nachos.

Activities also include live music and games for the kids.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta in Downtown Globe

The City of Globe presents the 28th annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta all day Saturday  in historic downtown Globe.

It’s a cultural celebration of music, food, art and community, with live entertainment, vendors, a food court and beer garden.

It starts at 10:am and continues until 10:pm.

The Globe Active Adult Cnter is celbrating Cinco de Mayo on Friday with live music and a Salsa Contest. Make your lunch reservation by calling 425-9030.

Following Cinco De Mayo at 12:30,  the Center will show the movie “War Horse.” Popcorn will be provided.

AAA Offers Cinco De Mayo Tipsy Tow

AAA is urging fiesta-goers to make plans to get home safely before heading out to celebrate this Cinco de Mayo. It is providing its first ever Cinco de Mayo Tipsy Tow. Service will start at 6:pm Saturday and run through 6:am Sunday.

Drivers, passengers, party hosts, bartenders and restaurant managers can call 1-800-AAA HELP (1-800-222-4357).

Tipsy Tow provides a one-way ride home for the driver, one passenger and their vehicle at no cost for up to 10 miles

CVCA Cinco De Mayo Exhibit

The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts is featuring a Cinco de Mayo Art Exhibit during the month of May. The show is open to artists of all ages and all media.

This annual exhibit is part of the Cinco De Mayo festivities in downtown Globe but it continues through the entire month.
