The Arizona Department of Transportation’s project to repave US 60 through Gold Canyon is now entering its final weeks.
Over the next three weeks crews will finish applying the second layer of pavement and striping between mileposts 199 and 211. One lane in each diection will be open through the work zone. When paving concludes, there will be intermittent single lane closures while guardrails are repaired or replaced, new traffic signs are installed, traffic signals are timed to current standards, and major clean up of the area takes place.
Crews will work Monday through Thursday from 7:am to 6:pm. Motorists should expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
