The Gila County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing California man who may be the victim of foul play.
Fifty year old David Mark Fink was last heard from on January 13 when he called his brother in Las Vegas. He told his brother that he was leaving the Phoenix area and that he was going to travel through Globe to take care of an errand, and then drive straight through to Las Vegas. He was driving a black Volvo with California plates.
Fink's car was found at the bottom of the Salt River Canyon. Blood was found in the front of his vehicle but Fink was not in the car or found in the surrounding area.
It appears that Fink may have suffered a head or facial injury.
David Fink is 6'4", 190 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.
If anyone traveling through the Salt River Canyon between January 13 through the 20th saw Fink or his car pulled over to the side of the road, or saw him talking with anyone, or any other suspicious activity, please contact Detective Emmett Dickison at the Gila County Sheriff's Office at 402-4311.
