Police Log

Globe High School was evacuated during the noon hour yesterday after a fire alarm. Someone set off the alarm but there was no fire.

Tri-City and Canyon Fire Departments assisted Globe Fire Department with a dumpster fire behind the Claypool Safeway. The fire was put out and there was no damage to any structures.

Miami Police arrested 34 year old Raynell Pizano on a failure to comply warrant for disorderly conduct-fighting and a child support warrant.

Globe Police arrested 36 yeear old Gerald Bylas on a failure to comply warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

41 year old Shauna Salcido was arrested for shoplifting at AutoZone.

Officers are investigating criminal damage to a vehicle on Turnbull Turn and criminal damage at Globe High School.

Yesterday morning the Gila County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen flatbed trailer. 44 year old Jeffrey Spivey was charged with felony theft.

Deputies are investigating a theft of vehicle tags at a residence on Highway 60; a theft of money at the County Recorder’s Office; and a report of trespasing and theft at the Salt River Project Sub-Station on Russell Road. Someone dug under the fence and took copper wire that belonged to APS.
