A wildfire that started Sunday morning near Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior has burned about 250 acres. US 60 was closed for several hours Sunday but reopened around 7:pm.
A Type 2 crew from the San Carlos Apache Reservation and the Apache Junction and Queen Valley Fire Departmeents have been at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
