AAA says gasoline prices are up again for the seventh straight week.
Nationwide, the average fuel price climbed 3.3 cents to nearly $3.49 a gallon. Statewide, the price of fuel has increased 2.5 cents to a little more than $3.43 a gallon. Arizona’s fuel average has increased more than 22 cents—or 7%-- since the start of the year.
Arizona drivers experienced the highest January fuel prices on record. The Arizona fuel average for January was 12% higher than in January of 2011.
The average fuel price this week in Globe-Miami was around $3.40 a gallon.
