Scottsdale Man Arrested for Circle K Robbery

A Scottsdale man was arrested early Tuesday morning after robbing the Claypool Circle K.

The Circle K manager called  the Gila County Sheriff’s Office around 3:20am. The manager reported that while the employees were cleaning, a man walked by and said, “Hey, this is a stick up.” The two employees and a customer hid in the walk in cooler and called 911. While they were in the cooler, the man walked around the store filling his pockets with candy bars and a beer.

A Sheriff’s Deputy arrived while the robber was still in the store and took him into custody without incident. Officers from both the Globe and Miami Police Departments arrived a short time later and assisted with the investigation.

29 year old Joseph Bullis was booked into the Gila County Jail on charges of armed robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bullis is being held on $25,000 bond.
